Abstrak

This research aims to investigate the phenomenon of gambling among teenagers in Denpasar City with a focus on the influence of social interactions. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive-explanatory approach. The theory used is social cognitive theory by Albert Bandura as an analytical framework. The research results show that teenagers are involved in gambling activities due to the influence of social interactions from peers. However, individuals' reasons for continuing to play dare gambling can vary, namely as entertainment alone, seeking instant financial gain, or to test their analytical skills on match data, especially in the context of sports gambling. This shows that social interactions have an important role in shaping dare gambling behavior among teenagers in Denpasar City.
