EVALUASI TOTAL BAKTERI DAN BAKTERI PELARUT FOSFAT PADA RHIZOSFIR TANAMAN Stylosanthes guianensis, Gliricidia sepium, Bracharia decumbens, dan Pennisetum purpureum DI LAHAN KERING PADA MUSIM HUJAN
Abstrak
Bakteri pelarut fosfat merupakan bakteri yang bermanfaat untuk melarutkan P terikat menjadi unsur P yang dapat diserap oleh tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui populasi total bakteri dan bakteri pelarut fosfat pada rhizosfer tanaman pakan di lahan kering pada musim hujan. Penelitian ini mengikuti model linier aditif dengan asumsi perbedaan populasi bakteri pelarut fosfat hanya disebabkan oleh perbedaan jenis tanaman. Pengambilan sampel terdiri atas 5 perlakuan pada rhizosfer tanaman yaitu: non rhizosfer (NR), Stylosanthes guianensis (Sg), Gliricidia sepium (Gs), Brachiaria decumbens (Bd), dan Pennisetum purpureum (Pp) dengan 4 ulangan. Peubah yang diamati meliputi: Total Plate Count (TPC), total bakteri pelarut fosfat (BPF), unsur P (fosfor) dan kadar air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TPC tanah diperoleh hasil berkisar 1,06 - 7,12 × 107cfu/g, BPF berkisar 4,78 - 7,60 × 106cfu/g. Unsur P pada perlakuan NR tertinggi sebesar 12,16ppm. Kadar air tertinggi pada perlakuan Bd 4,86%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa TPC dan BPF pada non rhizosfer dan rhizosfer tanaman Sg, Gs, Bd dan Pp di lahan kering pada musim hujan adalah berbeda. Kandungan unsur P berkisar 6,14 – 23,07ppm dan kandungan kadar air berkisar 1,68 – 4,86%.
