Abstrak

Jurnal pastura kali ini merangkum berbagai manuskrip tentang tumbuhan pakan tropik dari
berbagai aspek budidaya dan pengembangan Ipteks tumbuhan pakan tropik. Jurnal pastura
kali ini mengungkap hasil riset Ipteks tumbuhan pakan antara lain: terungkapnya brbagai
tumbuhan local yang memiliki potensi besar sebagai tanaman pakan, pemanfaatan tanaman
Indigofera zollingeriana untuk memacu mempecepat produktivitas ternak ruminansia kecil
serta berbagai teknologi budidaya tanaman pakan yang bermanfaat untuk ikembangkan
di berbagai daerah. Penggunaan berbagai jenis pupuk organik serta potensinya untuk
emningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi hijauan tampak masih menjadi kajian yang
menarik bagi kaangan ilmuwan tumbuhan pakan Indonesia.
