Growth and Biomass Fresh Weight of Odot Grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) in Peatland with Fermented Rabbit Urine Fertilizer
Abstrak
ABSTRACT
This study aimed to know the effect of fermented rabbit urine fertilizer (FRUF) on the growth and biomass fresh weight of odot grass in peatlands. This research was carried out for four months (October 2021 to January 2022). The design used was a randomized block design (RBD) with four treatments and three groups. The treatment was the administration of FRUF which was dissolved in 2 liters of water. The treatment consisted of P0 (without FRUF), P1 (FRUF 160 ml), P2 (FRUF 320 ml), and P3 (FRUF 480 ml). The observed variables were plant height, leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves, and fresh weight. The results showed that administration of POCUKF with a dose of 0-480 ml on odot grass in the 5th week of observation resulted in plant height 69.33 - 91.66 cm, leaf length 48.66 - 71.33 cm, leaf width 2.43 - 3.33 cm, number of leaves 76.33 - 130 piece and fresh weight 799.00 - 1,774.67 g. It concluded that administrating FRUF at a dose of 480 ml gave the best results for the growth and fresh production of odot grass planted on peatlands
