PENYULUHAN DAN PELAYANAN KESEHATAN ANJING JALANAN UNTUK MENDUKUNG PERCEPATAN PROGRAM BALI BEBAS RABIES DI DESA SEDANG KECAMATAN ABIANSEMAL KABUPATEN BADUNG

Abstrak

This Community Service was conducted on October 16rd. 2016 in Sedang village, Badung regency in the form of socialization of rabies on primary school students, service castration and ovariohisterectomy in dogs. The aim of this program was to give knowledge, clinical symptoms, and prevention of the rabies diseases. There were 164participants who came from representatives of each class and fill a quisioner. Seventy-five (75%) head of family reported that they have dogs, mostly (85%) have been vaccinated, 64% have not been sterile (castration and ovariohisterectomy), ang the mostly (50%) dogs have not been cage. The activity service of castration and ovariohisterectomy indogs runs smoothly and as planned. Socialization of rabies diseases has improved the understanding of all participants.
