PENGARUH DESENTRALISASI FISKAL TERHADAP KEMISKINAN DI PROVINSI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA TAHUN 2017-2023
Abstrak
In 2023, with the poverty rate in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province (DIY) estimated to reach 11.04%, Yogyakarta will again become the poorest province on the island of Java. This figure is the 14th highest poverty rate among 38 provinces in Indonesia. To overcome this problem, the government, economic actors and local communities must work together to find solutions. The government is dedicated to alleviating poverty and improving the quality of the economy, health services and education. Infrastructure development is an important step to achieve decentralization. The main objective of this research is to examine how partial and simultaneous fiscal decentralization impacts poverty in D.I. Yogyakarta Province. This research uses quantitative research techniques. Panel data will be collected from six regencies/cities in D.I Yogyakarta Province during the period 2017 to 2023. This research uses secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Directorate General of Balances (DJPK). The results of this research are that the PAD variable (X1) has a positive and significant influence on the poverty variable (Y), based on the results of the T test. Both the DAU (X2) and DBH (X4) variables have a negative and significant influence on the poverty variable (Y). while the DAK variable (X3) has a positive influence on the poverty variable (Y), but is not statistically significant.
