The Sustainability of The Coffee Based Agroforestry System in The Community Forest of Wanagiri, Buleleng Regency

Abstrak

The Community Forest Program is one of the efforts to save forests as well as provide benefits to the community. The community is given a permit to manage the forest on the condition that it does not develop plant species using a monoculture system but with a mixed garden system or agroforestry. This study aims to determine the index and sustainability status of the coffee-based agroforestry system in the Community Forest of Wanagiri Village, Buleleng Regency in terms of the ecological dimension, the economic dimension, the socio-cultural dimension, the legal and institutional dimensions as well as the technology and infrastructure dimensions. Data analysis used a multidimensional scaling (MDS) approach with the Rap-fish technique modified into Rap-Coffee through the multidimensional scaling (MDS) method. Leverage analysis and prospective analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the value of the sustainability index of the coffee agroforestry system in the Community Forest of Wanagiri Village, Buleleng Regency for the highest social dimension with an index of (70.86), followed by legal and institutional with an index of (70.06), the dimensions of technology and infrastructure with the index (65.21), the ecological dimension (65.07) the four dimensions indicate a fairly sustainable status while the economic dimension shows a less sustainable status with an index value of (48.16) multidimensionally the value of the sustainability status index in Wanagiri Village, Buleleng Regency is (63.87) which is classified as quite sustainable in the leverage analysis obtained 20 sensitive attributes from the 5 dimensions studied. In the prospective analysis, there are six key factors that have a strong influence on the agroforestry system in the Community Forest of Wanagiri Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, namely climatic conditions, good forest area, coffee price stability, Bumdes institutions, central government support and road conditions. For the sustainability of agroforestry, efforts should be made to improve the status of sensitive attributes and key factors for implementing sustainability strategies.
